Can dyspraxia be cured?

Dyspraxia, also known as Developmental Coordination Disorder (DCD), is a lifelong neurological condition and cannot be cured. However, with the right therapies and supports, children and adults with dyspraxia can learn strategies to manage their difficulties and build independence.

Occupational therapy can improve daily living skills, physiotherapy can strengthen coordination, and speech therapy can help with communication challenges. Educational adjustments and assistive technology also play an important role in reducing barriers at school and in daily life. While dyspraxia doesn’t go away, people can make significant progress and thrive with the right interventions.
