How do I know if I have dyspraxia?

Dyspraxia can present differently depending on age. In children, signs may include clumsiness, delays in motor milestones, trouble with handwriting, and difficulty with coordination tasks like riding a bike or using cutlery. In teenagers and adults, dyspraxia may look like ongoing challenges with organisation, memory, driving, or managing daily routines.

Because the symptoms overlap with other developmental conditions, it’s important to seek a professional assessment from an occupational therapist, paediatrician, or psychologist. A formal diagnosis can help you access supports through school, work, or the NDIS.

If you suspect dyspraxia in yourself or your child, book an assessment now.
