What type of ADHD am I?
There are three primary types of ADHD, and each person’s experience with the condition can be quite different.
The inattentive type is marked by difficulty focusing, forgetfulness, and disorganisation.
The hyperactive-impulsive type includes excessive movement, restlessness, and impulsive behaviour.
The combined type presents with a mixture of both inattentive and hyperactive symptoms. A professional diagnosis will determine which type you have by reviewing your behavioural patterns, developmental history, and current functioning.
Understanding your type is important for tailoring therapy, routines, and sometimes medication.
