When is Autism Awareness Month?

Autism Awareness Month is observed in April each year. It’s a global initiative aimed at increasing understanding, acceptance, and inclusion of autistic people. In Australia, the month is marked by community events, school programs, fundraisers, and awareness campaigns. World Autism Awareness Day falls on April 2 and often marks the start of activities. These events help highlight the importance of early intervention, neurodiversity, and inclusive practices across education, employment, and health.
