Why does dysgraphia occur?

Dysgraphia occurs because the brain has difficulty connecting language processing with motor coordination. This means that while a child may know what they want to say, translating that thought into clear, organised writing is challenging. Factors such as neurological development, genetics, and sometimes co-existing conditions like ADHD or dyslexia can contribute. It is not related to intelligence but rather how the brain processes written tasks. Early recognition and therapy can make writing more manageable.
